A set of pencils to check the hardness of a surface against the Mohs Hardness Scale

A set of 8 pencils fitted with mineral tips corresponding to the following values of Mohs Hardness
5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 9

Since these pencils have tips made from naturally occurring materials it is possible that there will be some fault lines. These do not in anyway reduce the quality of the pencils

The minerals are from different geographical sources

Also available a full range of Mohs Stones. These can be supplied as a set of 14 stones with Mohs hardness values 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5. 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 9 supplied in a box

We are also able to supply individual stones or bespoke sets of stones to suit individual requirements
